Shapers info:
To be placed on the the Shapers Tree, a shaper must have shaped 4 boards prior to the mid 1960's. 16 surfboards after the mid 1960's and 40 surfboards after the 1960's to the present.
 
On one end of the spectrum you have the entry level shapers, followed by the production shapers. The next level you have the Master Shapers and within the elite group there are shapers who have shaped over 40,000 blanks.
Besides the many men shapers, there are a few women shapers currently with more on the horizon.
